While There Is Still Time

Now…while there is still time…
while there are still words
Now…when we meet in passing and are in the same space
for the first time…and for the last
Lift your head, fair one,
for there is no tomorrow that will hold this…either the sweetness or the sorrow
Tomorrow will steal in on a breeze that blows beyond our knowing,
and you will turn around and all will be forgotten.
And glowing within you will be only the love and honour and truth of your original light
And if I live, it will be only in the life that I give to you…And I will say,
“it was mine to give, and thus I gave it”

I think you have to swallow the sorrow for the sweetness that’s here…
    tomorrow is never the same

The phrase “there is no time like the present” holds so much truth (and power, if we act on it). Tomorrow is full of promise, but… Now is so much closer.

Time is “now” and now is when we should say and do what we can. Tomorrow has no guarantees, but we still hope for a better tomorrow. Lovely message.

I love how this poem just vibrates with the joy of being in the moment. What an amazing gift it is really to be completely present and open to the one you love and have them reciprocate.

While there is still time…sometimes, no matter how much we live and love, there isn’t enough time. This poem shouts for us to live in the today.

The power of now. I like the line about tomorrow not being able to hold this. And yet, there is still time.

How true you must never waste time as the wind blows where it will and all things are unpredictable.
